Newfield Park Primary Academy Hosts the Halesowen Schools Cross Country Event

Newfield Park Primary Academy proudly hosted this year’s Halesowen Schools Cross Country event, bringing together 12 local schools and over 300 children to compete in a day of athletics.

The event attracted a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators and supporters, including family, friends and staff, all supporting the young athletes in their pursuit to cross-country glory. Pupils from a variety schools proudly represented their schools, showcasing an inspiring display of determination, team spirit and friendly competition.

Commenting on the event, Steve Payne, Principal at Newfield Park Primary Academy, said: “It was an absolute privilege to host such an exciting event which brought our local schools together, fostering a true sense of community spirit.

Watching the children push themselves to achieve personal bests while cheering on their teammates was truly inspirational, celebrating the amazing dedication, resilience and sportsmanship of all our young participants.
